Here is everyone at Catherine the Great's Palace. It was a gorgeous place with beautiful grounds to walk everywhere. It was super cold the day we went but it was worth it.
Getting ready to go to the fortress and Peter and Paul's Cathedral. This is where they kept a lot of prisoners during the revolution and members of the Romanov and Bolshevik parties.
This is at Peterhof's gardens. This place is known for the many fountains that are there. They were turned off and covered when we came but it was still a beautiful place to walk around for a few hours.
Here is a full view of the Peterhof Palace. It was gorgeous and looks great now that it's been restored.
Here is the Church of Spilt Blood where they executed the last Tsar of Russia. They executed him and then built this cathedral over the spot to cover up the memory.
Here is the Library inside the Winter Palace/ Hermatige. It was probably my favorite room.
This is everyone at the Peterhof Palace. In the background is the gulf of Finland. We were being silly. I call this picture "The Muses" :)
The Winter Palace where Anastasia lived. It looks kind of small until you walk around for 5 hours not exactually sure where you're at because there is so much to see. Literally spent over 5 hours in this building taking pictures and looking at things and we still didn't see everything. Absolutely loved it.
Jennifer Lopez was also in St. Petersburg while we were there. Some of the teachers were able to actually touch her hand. She said hi to us because we spoke English. Pretty amazing.
There's a small taste of what's in St. Petersburg. I will try to post more pictures later.
